Healthy vs Unhealthy Food


Hello, super students!馃挭 
Today, we are going to learn about the food we eat every day. Some foods help our body grow strong and healthy, and others... not so much! 馃槵

Let’s learn the difference between healthy and unhealthy food!


馃 What is Healthy Food?

Healthy food gives us energy, vitamins, and strength. It helps our body grow and keeps us from getting sick.

✅ Examples of Healthy Food:

  • 馃ウ Vegetables (broccoli, carrots, spinach)

  • 馃崕 Fruits (apple, banana, orange)

  • 馃悷 Fish

  • 馃 Eggs

  • 馃 Nuts

  • 馃 Milk or water

馃挕Remember: Healthy food is colorful and comes from nature!


馃崯 What is Unhealthy Food?

Unhealthy food is fun to eat sometimes, but if we eat too much, it can make us tired, sick, or unhappy.

❌ Examples of Unhealthy Food:

  • 馃崿 Candy

  • 馃 Cupcakes

  • 馃崟 Pizza (too much!)

  • 馃崯 French fries

  • 馃イ Soda

馃挕Tip: Unhealthy food has lots of sugar, fat, and salt.

Look at the list below. Write H for healthy or U for unhealthy:

Create your own Healthy Plate!

Draw a plate and divide it into 3 parts:

  1. 馃ウ Vegetables

  2. 馃崡 Protein (like eggs or meat)

  3. 馃崬 Carbohydrates (like rice or bread)

Then add a drink (馃 water or milk) and some fruit (馃崏).

Hello, children! 馃憢 Are you ready to learn how to stay healthy and strong?

In this Unit we will learn about:

  1. Healthy habits 馃崕

  2. Feeling good or sick 馃

  3. Common illnesses 馃┖

  4. Sport and health 馃弮‍♀️

  5. Using must and mustn't

  6. Home remedies 馃嵉


1. 馃 Healthy Habits – What do we do to stay healthy?

We all want to be strong, happy, and full of energy. Let's see some good habits:

✅ Eat fruit and vegetables
✅ Drink water
✅ Sleep 9–10 hours
✅ Brush your teeth 
✅ Wash your hands 馃Ъ
✅ Do sport or play outside 馃弨

You must eat healthy food.
You mustn't eat too many sweets. 馃崿



2. 馃 Are you healthy or sick?

When we feel good, we are healthy.
When we feel bad, we are ill or sick.

Let’s look at some examples:

  • I feel great! = I’m healthy! 馃槃

  • I have a cold. = I’m sick. 馃ぇ


3. 馃┕ Common illnesses and symptoms

Some things that can happen when we are sick:

You must rest.

Sports help your body and your brain!
What sports do you like?

馃強 Swimming – 馃毚 Cycling – ⚽ Football – 馃弮 Running – 馃 Yoga

You must do sport every week.
You mustn't sit all day!

 


5. ✅ Must and Mustn't – Healthy Rules

We use must to say what is important or a rule.
We use mustn’t to say what we should NOT do.

✅ You must eat fruit.
❌ You mustn't eat too much junk food.

✅ You must wash your hands.
❌ You mustn't go outside without warm clothes in winter.


6. 馃嵉 Home Remedies – What helps when you are sick?

Sometimes we can feel better at home with simple remedies:

  • 馃ィ Chicken soup – for a cold

  • 馃崐 Vitamin C – orange juice helps your immune system

  • 馃尶 Ginger – good for sore throats or tummy

  • 馃槾 Rest – sleep helps your body heal

You must drink lots of water.
You mustn't play when you have a fever!
